“Dude, you totally have a worm attached to your butt! A big, hairy worm!”

“I’d better pull that off, might be a delicious parasite. Dangerous, I meant. Hold still.”

That is one patient cat, Cheryl S.
Ours have fluffy buttsnakes.
New entry for coffee table book!
Looks like me and Stripes. 😛
I’m not quite as white as the birdy, though (almost, but not quite).
And Stripes isn’t orange.
But if you squint–looks the same to me. 😀
I did just cut up a bunch of carrots and red peppers, so I’m a little orange right now…
The way the parrots tallons (if that’s the right word) move make me thinks of aliens creatures in a sci-fi movie.
Me too! And the rest of him doesn’t move at all. Not a wiggle. Impressive.
Not meaning to offend, one “L” in talon.
I like how the parrot keep trying to splay his talon in different configurations to see if it would work better (“hey humans, how do these things even work?!”).
Loved these vids! Merlin is not a breed of parrot known to be particularly “handy” with his feet. I always find it cute to watch the birds that do use their feet more adroitly. I laughed out loud with these videos!!! Though it makes me a bit nervous to watch, if I’m being perfectly honest – I know only too well how strong that beak is and how easily parts of that kitten could come to harm. And I also know that cat’s saliva has bacteria that could be deadly to the bird if the kitten got bitey. I’ve never trusted Merlin enough to have him out of his cage when one of our other family pets are around.
Hilarious! This had me laughing out loud, especially at the second video, when the parrot seems to give up on the tail and go for the leg. 😛
They are like two bored siblings, stuck indoors on a rainy day.
Kitten: “Mooom! Petey keeps poking me!”
Parrot: “Did not! I wasn’t even looking at him!”
Right?! 😀
