I work at a warehouse and one day when I was going down to get lunch, there was someone from security with a guy from animal control in the front stairwell with a little gray kitten in a cage. He had hitched a ride on a trailer from who-knows-where and was found behind a pallet as they unloaded. Couldn’t have been more than a few months old; he wasn’t hurt but was a skinny little thing. I always wonder what happened to him.
I love Mickey’s face with the cheetah. “Uhhh…can I help you?”
I feel like I’ve seen the snapchat (snapcat?) article before. But I always enjoy a good rerun.

Yes, the snapc(h)at rings a bell for me, too. Still funny.
Yep, I’m laughing so hard people are staring at my office.
Maui is a polydactyl! What a precious little girl, along with miss Polar Bear Cub.

Ozzy needs to switch to Decaff
The Tourist needs to put his eyes back in his eyes (oh .. and he doesn’t taste like chicken)

I love the cooperation between Pima Animal Care and Catalina Memory Care.
BUT I’m at the point where I’m pretty darned disgusted with people being diminished by the group label “seniors,” and infantilized by the term “adorable.” (The kittens are adorable, true.) Fortunately the caretakers IN the video were very respectful, and spoke of the people living in the memory care home as residents, which is accurate, non-patronizing, and the most direct way to describe people who all reside in the same place. So my problem is only with the headline and the video header. HuffPo has published a number of articles pointing out that labeling people who have reached a certain age “seniors” and calling them “adorable” is ageist. Maybe I’ll drop a line to the editor about this discrepancy.
Rant over. Back to kittens and people helping each other.

Well, THAT was fun! I watched a few more of the ferret videos – hilarious when he plays with Eeyore (good thing I checked autocorrect just then – it wanted to replace”Eeyore” with “eyesore”) And, Doug, I agree about Mickey’s eyeballs – he’s almost a cartoon the way they’re popping from his sockets!
Murray did you mean Ozzy The Weasel? I love when he plays with Eyore! Eyore take quite a shaking about. I’m in love with Ozzy from way back.

He’s the same critter in the links today, so ferret or weasel I can’t say, but yes, he plays with Eeyore. It was obviously my mistake to call him a ferret and I hope he can accept my apology which I proffer with hat in hand!

He’ll probably jump into your hat, and then try to wrestle it away from you!
Aww! Little Maui is so sweet.
