Arthur Feldblapp is a mad scientist. A soft-spoken man of 27, Feldblapp represents a new breed of unnatural biological tinkerer who rejects the cackling, wild-eyed stereotype long embraced by society in favor of a gentler, just-folks persona.
His modest living room betrays little of his unique interests, save for the anatomy books neatly organized on the Ikea shelves, which also conceal the staircase to his underground lab. His latest experiment, a cat/dog hybrid, sleeps on the secondhand couch.
“I think we get a bad rap from the old movies,” he says between sips of Budweiser. “Like we really rob graves at night looking for body parts and brains,” he scoffs. “I mean, you can buy all that stuff online now.”
They’re just like us, Sharon H.
?
I think he needs to work a little more on size-matching…the dog end looks smaller than the cat end. That seems like it might lead to back problems.
Also,
Well, he’s combining them with inspiration from the move the Human Centipede. What we have is that most dangerous of combinations: the chihuahua-cat blend. He’ll have sassy, small-dog with catittude syndrome from this point forward. There’s no stopping it now! THE HORROR…
Cathuahua
Well done. Golf clap! Although I first thought you spelled Cathulu.
Mike, just make sure he uses the Cutetropolis link when he orders online.
I see warm and cozy kitty & puppy. Makes me happy.
🙂
I’m wondering if I can fit under the blanket in the middle.
One of Mike’s major talents is the names he makes up. Feldblapp!
I, don’t, see a cat in this pic.
Isn’t that a smooth hair chihuahua?
On the right is the back end of a white kitty.
And yes, it appears to be. I want him. I’ll take the kitty, too.
I’m having a good laugh – partly at myself because I didn’t see right away that this was two animals – and then it took me a bit to realize the back end was a kitty – what did I think has such a long tail?????
I had the same reaction, Murray C. They’re so adorable.
a family friend had a cat that was half house cat and half bobcat (maybe). They lived in Kings Canyon in California and the house cat mommy was wild. The resulting, and lone surviving kitten, was enormous. The friend had been reading a book of words kids mixed up and so the kitty was named Pullet Surprise (Pulitzer Prize). They called him Pull. Pull was one dumb, mixed up kitty. He had no idea how big he was – he was huge – and he was terrified of everything. If you could charm him he was extremely sweet.
