Oh, my, where to begin with all this adorableness! I do have to say, the woman who does the scratchboard is absolutely amazing! I do scratchboard every year for my Christmas card – (Faye – it was scratchboard supplies that I sent to you but don’t be intimidated!!!) But I’m afraid my skills are rather a pale imitation compared to this woman’s – Yeow! The boy with the marmots knocks my socks off – how incredible to have such rapport with wild creatures. I am suddenly overcome with longing to go kiss a marmot. And cats and bounced goats and cute puppies – nice start to my day! Thanks all sender-inners and Mike!

My desktop background at home is a baby marmot from a post a while back. 🙂
How much does cat cuddling class cost? Maybe I’ll go back to school… Can I get credit toward a degree of some kind?

What is SAR?

SAR can refer to many things. In this context I think it refers to Search And Rescue.
Doug, thank you for your work.

I especially loved the frontal portrait of the boy and marmot, showing they both have a little space between their front teeth 😀
The scratchboard drawings are exquisite. How is such talent even possible?! Simply breathtaking!

I agree! Totally in awe of the scratch board drawings!? The close-up of the horse made me gasp! Just…WOW??

When I was a kid, I would have given just about anything to get that close to a marmot! That boy doesn’t know how remarkable he is. Amazing! And yet yes, the puppies are the winners today. Those giant harnesses! Gack! My favorite scratchboard drawing has to be the black lab — it looks just like my friend’sguide dog, Wayne, the smartest dog I have ever known. The artist’s talent is astonishing!
Altogether, a superb collection of links. Good work, Andrew Y.!

Love these linkies–that marmot boy is super photogenic as well as sweet.
Ahh, it’s good to be home again, where I can see everything on a big monitor instead of my phone screen.
