One of my cats, Lily, always made a beeline for the sink when I took her to the vet. My wonderful vet just said that if it made Lily feel better to be in the sink, sheโd just examine her there.
Aw, poor scared baby. We’re taking our kitteh to the v-e-t on Friday for a checkup/rabies booster. Always stressful for all of us (my standard joke is that there will be sedatives involved…and I may even give some to the cat!). A little more so this time because last time we took her to this particular vet, as soon as we left she started vomiting (she was fine when we got there- the appointment was just for a checkup) and we had to turn around and take her back. My theory is that it was from the urine collection, as opposed to the rabies vaccine. I didn’t realize that if they don’t want to use a needle to get a sample, they just squeeze until something comes out. Owch! So, no squeezing this time- if they need a sample they can use a needle, which was done successfully by another vet, or we can get it at home.
Poor sweetie! It will all be better soon.

Hey, whatever works. ๐
Hi Mike. No emails. Maybe going down the sink?
