The baby rhino born at the Toronto Zoo last December got a treat most rhinos never see: snow! But the playful calf knew exactly what to do! (via Gigi The cat lady)
The baby rhino’s glee was such a pleasure to watch!
The back feets on the bottom right pup in the Pet Photography Starter Kit: Intermediate edition have killed me ded.
Have a nice day everyone.
BABY RED PANDA!!! Gaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh…….!
Very sad about the other pandas though.
Baby rhino snow zoomies! Wheeeeeeeee!
I’m surprised that Britain didn’t have leader horses already since they have a lot of muslims people and that a lot of them consider dogs unclean. They had them in the U.S. at least since 2009 http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/unleashed/2009/04/miniature-horse-becomes-guide-for-blind-muslim-woman.html
The universality of snow always amazes me. It seems like all baby animals and even most adult animals love to play in the snow, even when they’re from regions that don’t have snow and have never seen it before!
The baby rhino was doing BUNNY ROLLS!! When he flopped on his side and then rolled into his back, that’s what buns do when extremely happy!???
Happy baby Rhino. BIG FEETS!
All hail ZORAK!
Loved Baby Rhino and the zoomies! Especially comparing him to whoever mama or papa was lurking in the background! Baby Rhino is tiny in comparrison. I just hope he isn’t cold!
And kitty that is newborn’s best friend. Gah. I love it.
I was amazed at the cold tolerance — maybe even delight in cold — even over a short time, of an animal that evolved where it never gets cold, has basically no hair (certainly not any fur) and probably not much fat (rhinos are stocky but it looks like all muscle).
