And finally: Well-Trained
Every pup is loyal and true, but Xiongxiong beats them all. The 15-year-old dog walks with his human to the same railway station in China, and waits patiently the whole day for him to return. (via Andrew Y.)

Awwww! Xiongxiong must have heard the story of Hachi, the Japanese dog who exhibited the same behavior. . . Anyone see the American film with Richard Gere? I cried BUCKETS during that one. Amazing story.
It’s a very Japanese story. I for one would prefer my dog find a new family and remember me as “that nice Tall Dog who I don’t see anymore but I’m sure is having a very good time.”
Yes, of course. Wonderful movie.
They’ve had a statue of Hachi at that site forever, but a couple of years ago they added a second statue showing them reunited (sniff – darn onion-cutting ninjas!).
A real box-ket case there .. Poor kitty
eep!
All good links. But baby Hamster Dogs!
I needed those doggos when I got home from work.
