Not sure if this bun approves of that blast of cold air. It’s messing up its’ hare. I wanna gently bop that cute fuzzy leetle nose.
Lovely little bun bun. And I really have an urge to brush him and smooth out his fur. My hair looks like his this morning, going every direction.
And my hunch was right, the hubbies surprised us with a sunset dinner cruise last night. Very nice and we even had fireworks. The food wasn’t too bad but I really don’t understand this obsession of wrapping any and every type of food in bacon, like the chicken last night. Don’t get me wrong, I like bacon but to me it’s mainly a breakfast food. The boat circled the harbor and went by my hubby’s work place (he works fixing Navy boats). He showed us the ship he’s been working on plus all the other ships in for repairs. Didn’t get home til almost 11 last night so still trying to wake up.
Today is bill paying day (bye bye paycheck), errands and maybe browsing the thrift store. A lazy day to rest up before going back to work.
What a wonderful evening, AJ! Sound perfectly idyllic. What a nice hubby to do that for you. And I have no doubt you deserved it!
PS I think that bunny’s hairdresser is a cockatoo.

😀 ! and Happy Canada Day to all Canadian peeps on the site. The parade is just starting here in Port Credit; the marching bands have been warming out outside my window. 🙂 I am heading down to Niagara-on-the-Lake for the next couple of days, leaving this afternoon.

So at the moment I’m watching iTunes download hundreds of old podcast episodes for no apparent reason. I just deleted 122 episodes of Freakonomics from between 2011 and 2014. It’s still going but I can’t actually tell what it’s downloading at the moment. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I could really use a blast of cold air it feels like I’m sittings in a sauna. There is not that many CanadaDay celebration in Quebec at the best of times and some have been cancelled this year because of the heat wave but I’m watching the celebration from Ottawa on TV. The first of July is moving day here since most of the leases are dated July 1rst , I pity the poor people who are moving in this heat!

Happy Canada Day! Not too hot here in Winnipeg, kind of a lazy-hazy afternoon that is trying to decide if it wants to clear up or not. Bought a whole lot of fireworks so we can do our own celebrating tonight!

Oh Canada! Happy Canada to my northern neighbors and sorry for the heat. As my mom was Canadian, I remember a few of those celebrations plus the wonderful military tattoos. Always loved the pipe bands which seemed to be everywhere in Nova Scotia
