Advice from the Ancient One

“Remember your power, young one, and it will serve you well. When I lived in the palace of the great pharaoh Jerxes, I was revered as a god. I was to be entombed with him when he died, but I held up construction for years by meowing to go out and then back in, so they had to keep unsealing the tomb and sealing it up again.”

Ran up some serious OT on that project, if I recall.

Some traditions never die, Sharon H.

Can you install a cat door in a tomb?

Typical cat and if it was too hot or too cold, Jerxes would stand at the door equivocating on do I go out or stay in. Enh, not sure, give me a minute. Guess things haven’t changed in the last 1,000 years or so.

Probably had to keep unsealing and unsealing the tomb for all nine lives.

I’ve seen this with the caption:
“Do they still worship us, child?”
“Well, I poop in a box and they clean it.”
    “Good. Good.”

NOMTOM, Jerxes is more likely to be a Persian name /pedant. But still hilarious!

That little Mau kitty is gorgeous. I love the spots on its front leg area.
