Are You Talking to Me?

“Are you talking to me? Well, I’m the only one here. Obviously, I don’t literally mean I’m the only one here. After all, you’re here, or else you couldn’t be talking to me. And Larry’s over there, you could be talking to him, but he’s kind of snotty and doesn’t talk to anybody. And of course I’m not the only one here in the broader sense of the global community. So to return if I may to my original question…”

Very handsome puffball kitty. Curled paws get me every time.

From the setting, s/he could be in Colorado today: we got several inches of snow last night. It won’t stick, but I’m a little worried about my new plantings.

My brother’s in CO too and when I talked to him last night, he said We got snow, IN MAY!!! We’ve also been having rainstorms in SoCal which is almost unheard of for this month. Very weird weather lately.

And yes, Mr. Puffball is adorbs. Curled in paws are the best.

Same here in MA – we’ve hardly had any spring, then yesterday it was 80 and humid, and today it’s refreshingly cool and windy. There’s a maxim about the Berkshires “If you don’t like the weather, wait a minute!”

Big Fat Orange Cats!! What a great way to start the day. (But then, almost all my days are started by a BFOC pawing at me because he is desperately starving and his lazy person is just lying there like there’s no emergency going on.)

I think the big guy is just trying to warm up his feet, one at a time, from contact with this ridiculous white stuff which is your fault and about which he’d like to have some severe words with you.

Is that like putting your hand in your armpit to warm up your fingers?
