Who Caged Who?

Here at the Institute for Applied Irony, our researchers are constantly looking for new ways to harness the power of Irony for your comfort and convenience. For example, this scene of free-roaming cats so fascinated with a caged hamster that they too become immobilized can generate enough Irony to power a 40-watt light bulb.

cats watch hamster
Which is 39 watts more than any of these dim bulbs have.

The only cage is in the mind, Sharon H.

I wonder what the hamster is thinking…

The stress level of that hamster must be through the roof. I hope the human usually has a safe place for their habitat.

Put all those kitty brains together and I’m sure at least one of them will think of a way to get that hamster out of the cage!! It’s definitely NOT safe with all those paws and the intent stares of those kitties. I’m thinking they will eventually push the cage off the table it’s on in hopes of its inhabitant escaping. And watch out if that happens. I can only imagine what will ensue. And I don’t think the hamster will be the winner. Put the cute hamster in another room and shut the door!!!

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this picture on Cutetropolis before, with those pretty fluffy kitties staring at the hamster. I hope the hamster is still okay.

That’s a whooooole lotta floof, right there.

The hamster may be just fine with it. I have a chipmunk in my courtyard who loves to hang out right by the slider while my cats go nuts just two inches away. It knows they can’t get him. It may even be taunting them.

All I can think of is this song from the 80’s. Enjoy the earworm! Oh, yeah, the fluff levels are off the chart with this pic.
