It is SO tranquil. I don’t have loons in my area. Just geese and ducks and there’s nothing tranquil about that sound when a group of them get together.
Maybe I’ll have to pull it up on my tablet at lunch and just listen to it on repeat for an hour…I need some tranquility.

That’s me when I hear the sound of human fingernails being clipped. something about the frequency just makes me flip out. It’s like fingernails on a blackboard for some, scratching frost off a window for others. And you wouldn’t believe where I’ve heard it: in trains, in church, and in restaurants!
Heh, and I have a broken nail and am fighting the urge to find the clippers in my drawer.

it’s not the sound that bothers me, it’s the spraying of the clippings all over wherever they are. It disgusts me.
Or someone scratching their legs while wearing pantyhose.
The sound that styrofoam makes if you twist it… that makes my teeth hurt.
