Iโ€™m not a coffee drinker but I can become one if I get a leetle bun bun in my mug. Iโ€™m surprised the bun isnโ€™t going after that banana. It amazes me how buns love bananas, even though they wouldnโ€™t find them out in the wild. But I would only give 2 tiny leetle bites, too much sugar otherwise.

*Checks every single coffee mug in house* Sigh, no bun buns in any of my mugs, I feel cheated. Absolutely adorable pic, wouldn’t know what to go for first- banana or bunny. Hmmm. How ’bout I share and while s/he’s nibbling I can steal a few kisses on those lovely ears.

The show I saw yesterday (Evita) wasn’t too bad. Very intimate theatre and we were in the first row. If they had asked, we probably could have been extras, lol. Theatre usually seats about 800 and we were less than 200 for a matinee show. All the players were good, especially the ones who played Evita, Juan Peron and Che, the narrator. Interesting set up where they had a screen at the back that projected actual newspapers and pictures from her life.

Now time to deal with meal planning for the week, grocery shopping, dropping stuff off at Goodwill (and maybe shopping there too), and have to give puppers a bath. Poor baby has come down with a case of mange with a secondary skin infection so meds twice a day and medicated baths 3 x a week. He has so little hair in general that once he gets wet, he looks like a tiny alien. Especially when he looks at me with those big buggy hua hua eyes. And yes, I get just as wet as him, I think I’ll put my swimsuit on today to save my clothes.

“Excuse me, waiter, but there’s a hare in my coffee.”

There, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way.. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I saw Evita many, many years ago in Boston and I remember enjoying it very much but I’ll be darned if I can remember who was in it. But that probably says more about my crappy memory than the quality of the performances. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I bought the original concept album back in 1976 after Julie Covington’s “Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina” became a hit. When it was staged in London two years later I was desperate to see it, but I lived in a Lincolnshire village and it would have involved an overnight stay. I managed to get my parents’ permission…but couldn’t get a ticket as it was sold out for months!

Crikey – that was 41 years ago.

I’ll take that over actual coffee any day.

This looks like a wild bunbun. I hope s/he was released back into the greensward.
