Cannon Fodder

Oh wow, this new hiding place I just found is amazing! From up here, I can see over the whole courtyard, look down at people, watch the birds, do whatever I want! And when I want to take a nap I can just scroonch down where nobody can see me. I wonder why none of the other cats have told me about this place?

Come to think of it, where ARE the other cats?

I think they were all fired, Sharon H.

I assume the birdies up above are the ones who will light the fuse..?

    Reminds me of this: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5bys9k
And as an aside, I am here at my desk eating a few pistachios and I just dropped one and cannot find it anywhere–like where did it go?! I am even checking in my shirt and cannot find it?!

Eaten by the carpet monster. It mostly feeds on parts from plastic model kits, but it’s an opportunist.

How about a pant cuff? I lost an earring there once.
And by the way…your 5 second rule has probably expired. Just sayin. You know, if you find it.

It rolled under the foot of the opposing desk chair… Blue Booby, for a while there, I thought you were likely right. And Dulcie, yaaa, was disappointed with the non-eating realization as soon as it left my hand. Ah well.

Cozy. Enclosed. Private. Round. Whatโ€™s not to love?

It’s a cute photo and writes its own jokes (though of course NTMTOM helped!) BUT, do we think it was posed (a human put the cat in there) or do we think the cat got in there by itself, in which case, HOW? Too tall to jump from the ledge or floor below. If the cat had gecko feet it could walk up the top of the barrel and then somersault into the muzzle, but without adhesive foot pads, it’d surely slip off. Am I missing something?
