I just bought a new laptop (because my old one met a quick but painful death) and I just want to be sure I’m setting it up correctly. This didn’t used to be so difficult. 😣
It seems like there was a sweet spot between the obtuse hellscape of early computing and the point when Microsoft literally fired their entire QA team. For most of the Windows 7 era you just put a disk in and hit “Next” for a while. The worst that usually happened was some of the goofy extra buttons for opening web browsers or invading Alsace or whatever might not work.
Sooo—would this be…the Headed Horseman?
