Oh beautiful looking bunneh, I know the feeling. Went to Walmart earlier this morning, (oh fun) using my DIY folded bandana. Shopping is now a different experience but I can use the walk and seeing other things besides my four walls. You’re not hoarding, you bunnehs , along with my two, eat a lot of greens.

Yeah, that looks like breakfast for my bun, but without the carrot. Theo HATES carrots!🥕
They should have made bunnies lusting after bananas, I tell ya!

Lovely lookin bun bun. Their cart looks like the farmer’s market I went to yesterday and got some fresh fruits/veggies, eggs, and absolutely scrumptious smoked Alaskan salmon. I’m trying as much as possible to keep supporting our local merchants during these trying times. Today I’ll be braving a supermarket run for a few other items. And now they’re putting into effect, wearing a mask or some other face covering while out in stores. We all look like banditos from an old western. Then go for a walk before it starts raining and maybe some craft projects. Just trying to keep myself occupied so I don’t dwell on how weird this whole situation is.

My friend made me one of the face masks and I can barely breathe thru it! That can’t be right?

That doesn’t sound right. I thought masks were supposed to protect you not smother you. Some people might be going overboard with the fabric thickness. I went online and ordered a couple motorcycle face protectors or neck gaiters. Figured I can use them next winter to keep my neck warm.
That would be a very good idea, but I would die of heat!😵🔥

What a lovely bun!
I will need to go for some fresh produce soon. I have no veggies left and a couple pieces of citrus fruit. (I do have some canned and frozen stuff, still.) Thinking maybe an evening during the week might be better? They close at 8, now, though, and are limiting the number of people allowed in at once. I “leave” work at 5. Hopefully it’s not too crazy then..? I also need to cook my chicken today.

Tragic news: I am out of my favorite hot chocolate mix. 😭 Don’t plan to go to Target just for that (it’s their Archer Farms brand dark chocolate), so I went a-googling. Found a Starbucks copy-cat recipe and tried it this morning (okay, it was afternoon). Not too bad. I only have Hershey’s Special Dark cocoa so it’s not quite the same, but it’ll definitely do (might play a bit with ratios). Also I realized I have two unopened containers of cocoa and one opened but nearly full. If nothing else, this is a good time to use up some of the stuff I have accumulated.
My mom just sent me a message that she’s going to try to go to Wegmans again tomorrow (while my dad is at PT). On the one hand, if she’s already there and can get me stuff, it means I don’t have to go and my family overall is less exposed. On the other hand, I feel guilty that she’s out there and letting her get me stuff means she’s in the store that much longer. 🙁
Did some shopping myself this morning. This is a great time for asparagus! I roast it with Urban Accents spice blend and can devour the whole pound in one sitting. All my fave veggies were available fresh except for salad stuff. I like the baby spinach and butter lettuce combo, but no joy.
Since I live alone and an committed to high-fiber desserts, I buy bags of frozen berries and frozen mango. A bowlful cooks in the microwave for a few minutes, then I top with unsweetened coconut chips and sometimes chocolate sauce or chocolate chunks. Fresh fruit often spoils before I can eat it.

I was able to find litter box stuff in my run today. I feel like I’ve successfully foraged for provisions in the forest.

What? You mean Looney Tunes lied to me?!
Apparently! Who knew?
But rabbits can still sing opera, right?
I have had MANY buns since 1989 and none have sang to me.🙁 I did have one that would growl—rather loudly—at me tho!
I am disappoint 🙁
I’ve never heard of a growling bunny!

Sounds deliciously sinful! Gonna have to get me some cocoa mix!😁
So last night I mixed up 16 tablespoons each of cocoa and sugar in a container so I can just scoop and add water and milk.
Bunneh, it’s not hoarding at all.
