I love the last pic, where that cute leetle sassy fella, seems to be telling off the skier. So leetle to be taking on someone many, many, many times its size, what spunk. Does anyone know what animal that is? It resembles a miniature size beaver. I’d be tempted to scoop ‘em up & take it home- just kidding.

According to one of the comments on the post, it’s a lemming.

That is one ticked off chipmunk. At least I think it’s a chipmunk, it was moving and squawking so much I can’t be sure. And all the new zoo bebahs, so cute!! That lab is adorable, now I’m hungry for some ice cream (but it’s only 9 in the morning!).

That angry lemming made me howl–so much rage in such a little body!

Love the zoo babies. Stay strong, little Nelson! Keep swimming, unnamed pygmy hippo!

Ramona the kitten has completely stolen my heart. Gosh, I miss having kittens in my world. That summer of 2013, when the 6 Weasleykittens and mom Molly were living on my porch, was incredible.

      6 orange kittens?

3 gingers, plus 2 cow cats and a classic tabby.

What a lovely kitty family, no wonder you miss them.

Three got adopted by students; I took the other 3, though one is no longer with me. Mom died too, sadly.

I would be awakened by kitten wrassling on my front porch. Plus I could go out and cuddle them any time I wanted. Heaven.

I adopted our previous Marci from a Professor of Linguistics when I was a student. He overheard my conversation with my bf about looking for a
cute tabby and he stepped up to offer me the craziest of all tabbies. (Our tabbies are always called Marci, the current one is Marci IV) Marci III wasn’t a very affectionate cat, but had an incredible character. Losing him led me here to Cutetropolis to be with kindred spirits in 2016.

I love the marbled lab, and I especially love the standard splay-footed lab sit.

I’ll have some marbled lab. 80 pounds. Not sliced!

The lemming’s refusal to put up with the giant animal’s interference worked. Large animal clearly intimidated!
