Well, shake it up, bunny, now
    (Shake it up bunny)
    Twist and shout
    (Twist and shout)
Come on, come on, come, come on, bunny, now
    (Come on bunny)
Come on and work it on out
    (Work it on out)
Well, work it on out, honey
    (Work it on out)
You know you look so good
    (Look so good)
You know you got me goin’ now
    (Got me goin’)
Just like I know you would
    (Like I knew you would)

👍🏼 This song always reminds me of Ferris Buller’s Day Off😉

I always think of the Beatles; I know the Isley Brothers did it first, but the Beatles record is the one I remember hearing first.

I actually played the Beatles on Ed Sullivan video to make sure I got the “echo” lines right (since they weren’t included in the lyrics that I copy/pasted).

If y’all haven’t seen it, there’s a Corona reunion special with the cast of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It is so touching, especially the tribute to John Hughes at the end. I dare you not to cry!

This precious bunneh has the disapproving look of the indignity of bring rained on. And that slo- mo shake is funny.

I guess I’m truly a child of the 80’s because my mind didn’t automatically (sorry!) go to the Beatles.
