Lost and Found

Hey guys, I’m really sorry I wandered off like that. First I took a long walk in the forest, and when that didn’t clear my head I took a yoga class, and that didn’t help so I climbed a mountain and just contemplated Life and stuff. I guess I was trying to find myself.

I knew where I was the whole time!

When I lose something, I buy another one and then the lost one turns up. Don’t know how that would work when I lose myself, or my mind!

Imagine living in the Star Trek universe where you can replicate whatever you need. I’d end up drowning in wallets and car keys.

I even lost the car last time. When the sweet lil ‘one wasn’t at my usual parking spot (it was taken when we arrived) I thought I had walked to the shop. I just realised it halfway home when I found the car keys in my pocket. 🙂 I wish I could handle sleep deprivation like when I was 20.

          Oh, how I understand!

That mental picture is delightful! Like the Gringotts vault in the final Harry Potter movie, where everything doubled when it was touched!

As my mother always used to say, it’s not lost just misplaced. And I have misplaced lots of things and sometimes in the weirdest places. When I find it, I usually look at for a minute going what were you thinking that it ended up here??? Or even better when the gremlins/pixies move it out of its spot for just a minute so you don’t see it the first time but it’s there the very next time you look.

I would scour the earth for a sweet puppy like that.

However, I HATE that expression, It’s always in the last place where you look, Like you find something and THEN you go check fifteen other places.

I know that the phrase really is “the place place that you THINK to look” but it still bugs me.

I’ve always thought that “It’s always in the last place you look” was just a logic joke.
