I saw the giraffe video last week…I can’t decide if he was really trying to help or if he just thought, “ooh, snacks!”
Valentine and her babies! π

I feel so sad for the dogs and cats bred on purpose NOT have full-length legs (I don’t mean naturally-short-legged breeds of dog…and there are no natural short-legged cats).
To me, they always seem surprised that they can’t reach farther, perhaps especially the cats. Their *brains still think they have full-length legs.
Sorry, but it’s more than a ‘pet peeve’ of mine.

I had to go look up other pictures of ChowChows and their puppies, to see if this was a false impression based on being a puppy with so much fur in the middle that the legs look extra short, or if there is a dwarf version being deliberately bred to pass on a disability, like munchkin cats. And there are miniature chowchows, delberately bred for achondroplasia.
I hope this is simply a cute small puppy and not a deliberately selected achrondroplastic dwarf pup.
I can’t watch the Kittisaurus videos because celebrating the deliberately bred munchkin cats is just so wrong….and so different from loving and supporting and celebrating those who happen to be born that way, like L’il Bub.
Loved the giraffe, thinking the gazelle was a waiter passing with the hors d’oeuvres tray.

I love today’s cat and dog moms, so precious.
Helpful girafe is helping and getting lunch at the same time, it’s a win win situation.

I choose to believe the giraffe acted out of kindness, not hunger, because giraffes are just like that.
Valentine and her pups made my heart asplode. So did Mr. Peaches, who has the best life!
Bobkittens! The mom looked like she was ready to attack hoomins for looking at her precious babies.
I agree! i wouldn’t have been sticking my face into her nest/den. Those eyes!
