People don’t understand what it means to be emo. Like, they think this is just a weird haircut, but it’s so much more than that. This haircut is my shroud, sheltering me in the cold, comforting darkness. It creates for me a private world where I can see out but nobody can see in. But the big drawback of this hair is that I can only wear it whenever Marvin lets me.

They need to make him a proper wig from Marvin’s brushings…
In the meantime, he can come brood with me.
And from the looks of it Allein, they’ll be plenty of wigs made from Marvin’s brushings. We could have a whole brood of emo dogs with hair styled to their specifications. I like it draping on the left, for him it’s on the right, and some prefer full face bangs.

Leg is feeling a lot better today but my back is killing me.
I took a short walk yesterday after work and did some of the exercises she gave me (two of them hurt too much) but maybe I should have waited a couple days and let the drugs work on it a bit more.
Took the muscle relaxer at bedtime last night then read for a bit, until my arms couldn’t hold my book up anymore. Had a hard time getting up this morning, though (thankfully working from home today). I think I’ll take it earlier tonight.
I couldn’t do anything for 24-36 hours the last time I took one of those.
Glad that it’s helping you rest.
Glad about the leg, sorry about the back. If it’s not one thing it’s something else. I find I need to take any meds that might make me sleepy about an hour before I go to bed. Otherwise I end up like a night of the living dead zombie the next morning.

Allein , I remember your nervously talking about pain in your leg but haven’t seen too many posts of late so have missed the outcome. But I just want to wish you speedy healing. My husband is dealing with sciatica and back pain so I’m very familiar with the misery those sorts of what can be real disabilities can produce.

This sums up perfectly my impression of (many) cat’s relationship with their doggy roommates. They deign to offer what might please them as long as it takes no effort. Incidental is even better! 🤣
