Rhino would like it around here today… š§
It’s grey and wet here but nothing like they said it would be, no strong wind and very little rain.
Yeah, the rain’s been pretty light so far. I thought I heard some heavy rain this morning, but it was early and I wasn’t fully awake so I’m not sure.
Great links. The story of the hero dog Bear is wonderful – a personality problem that made it difficult to get him adopted turned into the key to his career as a koala savior. I loved the armadillo enjoying a bath and cool fresh water to drink. Iām sorry Tilly didnāt get to stay with her rescuer and rescuerās pup. Baby rhino frolicking ! And I think a little disappointed the humans didnāt want to play.
How cute was Daisy the pup, too?
Very. Tilly and Daisy seemed so happy together. Sigh.
Those humans looked a little less than attentive.
Bear dog…you rule.
Yes – itās hard to understand how they wouldnāt play with the happy baby who was definitely trying to entice them.
I wouldn’t have resisted. Cavorting baby rhino is as cute as a scootin’ bebeh heffalump.
Baby rhino frolicking is almost as bouncy as a baby goat!
Such sweet babies and stories today. Rhino looks so happy just playing in the rain. And the mud. Someone might need a bath after all of the day’s fun. All I know is I’d go cross-eyed and blind trying to do the micro-mini crochet animals. They’re absolutely stunning but she must have great eyes and patience for that type of work.
Darling Bear and Jasper, we don’t deserve you.
Love the scampering baby rhino. Something about baby rhinos just melts me–maybe because they’re so cute and so homely at the same time.
Armadillo rescuer did a heroic job, even trying to keep armadillo from walking across the busy highway. But I hope he washed himself really, really thoroughly with soap and water right away, because ‘dillos are known to carry Hansen’s disease (leprosy.) Such kindness should not be “rewarded” with disease.
Loved the happy rhino zoomies. I suppose the humans are steering clear so as not to get run over, but that guy in grey looked so uninterestedāI would at least have been interested.
I never knew that about ‘dilloes and disease! Cute is not just for fun and games…you can learn things!
The disinterested humans are still making me feel bad for baby rhino. I melt at that meme of the otter who has supposedly done something awesome and nobody cared. The woeful look on that otters face turns me to mush.
(Allein can probably find it…š!)
Hansen’s disease is not very communicable, at least.

That’s the one!! That face just makes me want to hug wee otter so badly!!
I always want to hug otters. They’re just the cutest.
Good to know about Hansen’s Diseaseāthanks, Allein! Still ā¦ folks in ‘dillo country should be aware. I still think that guy is the best.
That man was a hero. And the dillo was meltingly cute.
