“Hey Bro…you from the hood?”
Bibi performs this service for me, as did Ricky in his day. When one hand is taken up holding a leash or a squirmy dog, whatever I have to lug home in the other hand had better be worth it. I call them my Personal Shoppers—they don’t let me buy anything I don’t need.
On another note entirely, I can’t remember the last time I saw a Timex watch display. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking …
Remember when they would talk about a particular incident – under water, run over by a car, etc. – and the watch would still be working? The most memorable of those to me was the dog that ate the watch. After waiting for nature to do its work, yep! That Timex made it through the nether world still keeping time!
That’s crazy and hilarious! 😆
I need a kitty in my hoodie.
I am wearing a hoodie today and I just checked and there is no kitten in the hood.
I’m calling Kohls to complain.
I think all Cute peeps should adopt the much cuter name for hoodie. BUNNY HUG. And you don’t have to be Canadian.
I have never heard of a hoodie called a bunny hug! Google seems to imply that refers to the pullover type with a pocket in front?
For the record, I am wearing a zip-up jacket similar to this:
Yes you are probably technically correct. Zipperless pull over with hand pouches. And as a kid I remember that they all seemed to have a “cottontail” pompom at the tip of the hood.
I always thought it was for both zippered and pullover hooded sweatshirts. I always called them “bunny hug”. “hoodie” wasn’t even a word when I was in high school, at least not in Saskatchewan.
Also, pullover hooded jackets were called “Kangaroo jackets” because of the “kangaroo” pocket. I seem to recall that the same term was probably used for pullover sweatshirts too.
The kangaroo pocket would make a great place to put a kitten or two.
My jacket has inside pockets that would probably accommodate a small kitten….
I needed that Puttit-Back Puddy-Cat (preferably a bun bun) this morning when I went to Target. My own inner voice wasn’t loud enough to stop me from buying more than needed. In my defense, I did buy a Christmas gift. As for the Timex display, I still have a watch from my high school years that still works. I miss just winding a watch and am tired of buying batteries.
“I tought I taw a Puttit-Back Puddy-Cat. [pause, looks back] I did! I did tee a Puttit-Back Puddy-Cat!”
I need one of these for on-line shopping.
For online shoppers, a puddy-cat will spread itself across your keyboard and demand your full attention.
That works!
