Wish I could take little Baklava. I wouldn’t even make her wash windows. (Though it reminded me of that scene from Annie: “First the windows, then the floors, that way if I drip…”)
Can’t see the guinea pig train at work, but here’s a hedgehog Christmas I saw last night..
Plus a little behind-the-scenes action:

I can’t believe Baklava hasn’t been adopted yet.
Smug animals are smug.

I think that white gorilla had more of a come-hither look.

No need to be sad about Baklava as she was adopted the day after the article was posted. Yeah for her!!!!! Wish I was closer as they a few adorable other dogs and cats available. Guinea pig train was too funny, was that a live sheep at the end?? If it was, I think it was in shock looking at all the piggies going by. Other links will have to wait for later, time to hustle and get ready for week.

Hurrah for lovely Baklava!

Other links are fab-u-lous! Love all the intricate paper animals, definitely need a steady hand and steady eye to do all that. Thank goodness my new house didn’t come with a resident sheep herd (even thought we do have the room out back!).

Just looked out my window. No hedges, guinea pigs, foxes in the snow, sheep, labradoodles, or paper animals. There IS, however, a very smug cat in a window across from me, sitting by a Christmas tree and watching the wildlife.

Tee hee hee. I just got back from tiptoeing around the building, leaving Christmas presents at the various pet owners. The phone should start rin-… oop, here we go… ringing off the hook. I made T-shirts with the various ownersβ pets on them, as iron-ons, and they seem to be well-loved already. One seventy year old budgie owner just called, squealing with delight.

How nice of you to do that for your neighbours!
I must confess that apart from Marguerite, the older lady that lives in the house next to ours, I don’t know any of the people living on my street, I’m really not very sociable.
I really don’t know any of my neighbors, either, if it makes you feel better.

Love the happy fox in the snow! And the paper animals–simply gorgeous!

The smug smuggersons! Awful lot of side-eye happening there. What a great group of pics. π

I’m just going to leave this here.

Finally had a chance to meet the lamb and the labradoodle! What a riot, watching the pup try to play frisbee with the sheep.
Also I would like to find a house that came with sheep.

The thing with the guinea peegs seems to be more common than one might think. Here’s another similar idea–slightly different implementation, every bit as cute:
Baklava’s story made me sad, the way she desperately paws at the window for attention broke my heart. π
Thankfully the guinea pig train cheered me right up! π
Me too! And me too!
