I have turnstiles at my job, as well. They could certain use the addition of kitties.
They actually took the bars out of the turnstiles last year because of covid (so hundreds of people wouldn’t have to touch them, especially at shift change when they’re all coming in at once), but I would still gladly pet a kitty to get through.
(Normally they would just open the employee entrance doors when the shift was coming in and people would swipe their badges to go through the turnstiles, but they changed it so everyone has to tap their badge on the reader outside that opens the door so the system knows they came in, and to get to the turnstiles you pass a temperature scanner. They still keep the doors open during the rush and I’m sure it takes longer since there’s only one reader instead of the 5 turnstiles inside, but at least everybody’s not all touching the same surfaces. Also that way there’s one line coming in which probably helps keep people further apart, and makes sure the temp scanner gets everyone. I don’t know how useful that really is at this point, but they’re still doing it, so…)

I just realized that Saturday (I mean Caturday) is Christmas. I keep thinking Christmas is Friday…. So, we have a Catmas this year. How purrfect. 😻☃️

I hope the polar bears get something from the garbage the humans left behind. They seem to like being inside the buildings looking out the windows.
