“(That was a wild party last night, but I’m paying for it now. I shouldn’t have done all those carrot juice shooters. Guess I’d better check my social media page so I can remember what I did.)”

Love when bun-buns wash their faces!
Me too. Then they do their ears, and usually stretch out their back legs to clean them. We always laughed after we pet or cuddled one our buns, because then they’d run off and clean all the hoomin off of them. But we’d do the same, go wash our hands afterwards. That’s a cute bun bun, hangover or not.
Known that feeling when I was younger. Thank goodness social media wasn’t around back then to immortalize some of my antics. Cute bun bun, maybe some nice restorative dandelion tea to help make things better.
This post reminds me of a website and calendar that used to be active called Hungover Owls. Guy found pics of owls with scrunched up or weird faces and put captions to them, Most of them were definitely not workplace friendly but were hysterical.
I just read a funny recently…
“I skinned my knee in October of 1985. I’m telling you now because we didn’t have social media back then.” 😂
Tumblr is still there…

Sadly I’ve been in this poor bun bun’s place in my younger days, fortunately there was no social media back then to immortalize my youthful excesses.
Same here. And, no cell phones either (or they were the old Nokia or flip phones that took terrible photos/videos so most people didn’t bother…thank goodness…).
One time I drunk-texted my boss celtic music on a Tuesday. He replied “I’m really more of an Iron Maiden guy.”
I just want to remind everyone of what would have been Betty White’s 100th birthday. Her fans are asking people to make a donation to an animal shelter of their choosing, mine will be a local shelter.
Awww….thank you for the reminder and suggestion! If anyone is in the NYC area and has a local suggestion I’d appreciate it.
North Shore Animal League is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, but maybe this site will give some ideas.

Metropolitan Maltese Rescue is always my favorite, because that’s where I adopted Ricky and Bibi from. https://www.malteserescue.com/
Animal Haven has an excellent reputation https://animalhaven.org/
NYC also has a local Humane Society http://www.humanesocietyny.org/. They are—thanks goodness!—unaffiliated with HSUS, which I wouldn’t spit on after they palled up with Michael Vick.
There is also Bide-a-Wee, which I personally support because I had a terrible experience with them. However, they are a no-kill shelter of long standing, and your mileage may vary.
Neither the ASPCA nor Animal Care and Control (ACC) are no-kill, and for that reason I support neither organization.
I’m in the midst of revising my will and I’m compiling a list of charities. I had listed Animal Haven and then I clicked on the link Allein provided above. I looked at the comments for Animal Haven and one person had some disturbing things to say about them.
You had mentioned the other day a vet who also has an organization doing, hmmm, I’ve forgotten the details, but you adopted from there. I had supported that group for a while and would like to do so again. Can you identify it for me from the bits and pieces I’ve remembered?
Oh no! I reread your comment snd I see I misread it AND your prior comment! Never mind!
Elaine, thank you so much–I didn’t know about this and will happily send a donation to my local shelter.
Bun bun looks like me this morning, but for a different reason.
My foot was itching all night, and I can’t scratch the healing.
Maybe bun bun can sit in my lap, and I can scratch him. Then we’ll both feel better.
