He looks so proud of himself.

Well, it *is* an achievement, of sorts.

He does look very proud! And sweet!
(But it always bothers me to see that kind of destruction… they’re bored and being left alone don’t you think?).

That’s certainly a possibility, and a worrisome one. But we don’t know the backstory here. Maybe it was just an accident waiting to happen.

This can also happen if they *need* to be locked up for a while, eg because the hallway is being repainted, or there are repair people in the house the dog is very insistent on bothering. So you drag a bed and the water bowl into a room with a nice picture window, thinking he’ll be fine for a couple hours. Then fifteen minutes later, heeeeeres Johnny!

Blurry animal on the right (cat?) does not seem impressed.

I don’t speak dog, what does the ear position of the onlooker indicate: awe, surprise, befuddlement…?

Oh my. Huskies are known for being energetic but this is over the top. Reminds me of my min pin Dobby who had really bad separation anxiety, wanted out so bad he scratched all the way down to the studs. Landlord was not too happy.
