I rescued a baby opossum once. Found it in the middle of the street while jogging, was gonna move it to the side cos I thought it was dead, and it MOVED😳 Immediately went home and a friend and I took it to a rescue—it was soooo tiny, and cute!💕 Couldn’t be released when it was older and became the rescue’s mascot☺️

It was so small, and I imagine it would have died soon. We figured it had fallen off of mom, and saw no sign of any others. While I waited for my friend, I held him and petted him gently. I’ve never thought opossums were cute, but I’d never seen a baby. It was just adorable. It’s a best memory😊
There are plenty of people, exes and others, that I would love to send their names in to be “neutered” or “spayed”. Love that it also raises money for a good cause. Harriet’s mom sure didn’t know what she was getting into but good for her for sticking with it and figuring out how to keep Harriet happy. That’s one well loved and spoiled kitty. Amazing, a husky that’s not totally over the top. Laughed at how he knows how to “speak” English. Happy heffalump made my day, about the only person/animal enjoying the weather we’ve had.
Opossums don’t live long enough. Very unsatisfactory
A happy elephant dancing in the rain is something I didn’t know I needed today but I’m so glad I got to see.
