The rescue and rehabilitation of the paralyzed bunny is SO wonderful. That wombat should teach relaxation techniques

I’d take his class.

Yeah, me too. I feel ya, little wombat. I feel ya.

I am so HAPPY for the formerly paralyzed bunny!💕 Such a determination to move on his own! So funny how he was vandalizing his wheelchair😆. I’m glad that horrid whatever on his side healed so nicely, too.
Made my day!
The wombat reminds me of sooooo many cat photos, arms and legs flat out, and belly available for snorgles😉

Huzzah for campus cat! When I was teaching, I used to advocate for a campus petting zoo–thought it would come in handy around exam time.

My college has a “therapy doodle” named Truman. (Sadly that was not a thing back in the ’90s when I was there.) You can buy a stuffed version in the campus store, too.
Someone on campus is also training a service dog (I think she’s an occupational therapy major) so he lives there with her (there was a feature on them that they shared from the local news a while back).

I wish my college had had therapy animals! But that was back in the 80s when ANY animals,
ANYwhere, were verboten.😢

All we had when I was there were the ducks and swans down on the lake at the far end of the campus (and the squirrels in the trees, who my friend insisted threw acorns at her). And the wild turkey who liked to hang out in a tree in front of the library (otherwise he was usually down at the lake, as well). (Maintenance would clean up his droppings once a week or so; after he was gone you could still tell which tree he used to sit in.)
The turkey’s name was Tom and he had a girlfriend named Jenny. Jenny was sadly hit by a car the year before I started school, so it was just Tom for most of my time there (he died when I was a senior).

I love the campus kitty. I think evey university/college (heck, even workplace) should have a resident 4 legged friend. My campus has or had some feral cats roaming the campus that a staff member fed. I haven’t heard anything recently so the population may have naturally dwindled. We do have 2 therapy dogs “working” here – Luna and Baxter – complete with their own Instagram page.

Wombat was me this morning, oh so hard to get moving. Allergies are just kicking my butt this week.
I am the wombat and the wombat is me.
Just met bunny Desi and was blown away–what a determined little guy! Also the dog portraits are wonderful.
This is my favorite face!
But this one says “this is mine, get over it.”
