And finally: Don’t Be So Stuffy, Baby
Andrew Y. shares a flirty birdie.
And here’s a little someone from the Ass Menagerie, along with a Woman of Cutetropolis!
I love Yorkies! Looks so cute!
Yeti! Little dog, big name! His backstory is sad but he seems like such a sweetie in spite of it all.
(This video is where I heard about the sanctuary.)
that sheep is adorable. Never knew that they could be so needy and affectionate.
Bottle-fed lambs are often very attached to their mums.
Adult Sunna, running across the grass, makes me so happy.
Somebody at the Ass Menagerie is a terrific photographer. Such a happy affectionate rescue sheep. I didn’t know they could be so interactive. The bird trying to interact with the stuffie bird made me a little sad.
Wooliam and Feleece!! That is hysterical! 😂 The multi-colored chicken is Satan!
Someone is very good at naming!
I read the about section for The Ass Menagerie thinking that would explain their choice of name but no, it sure looks like a great place though.
Poor bird trying to make friend with the stuffy, he must be so lonely.
I just think s/he’s happy with someone to relate to. Doesn’t look unhappy. Reminds me of little Duckie.
That makes me feel better. I do love happy birbs.
I want one for Duckie!
The name is a play on the title of Tennessee William’s first hit play, The Glass Menagerie (ass being another name for donkey). Hence Mike’s headline, which references Blanche DuBois from Williams’s A Streetcar Named Desire. This is an opportunity for a Cat on a Hot Tin Roof joke, but I can’t come up with one just now.
Mike’s best headline ever.
Marigold and her kittens made me squee.
I need to do some work in my house…can I take birdie with me to the paint department?
I would love a room that used that bird’s colors! So striking.
I’m thinking a soft gray wall with dark blue trim and some brighter blue accents…

Alice, is yours the one with the blue door?
Whoa! That was a test as I didn’t know how to upload my own photos – I thought I’d deleted it. I’ll try again later…
