I love Brat’s stick-out tongue!😛
The comments on The Quacken with “why are they locked up, set them freeeeeee” are hysterically clueless. Love how they are taken down by “predators, idiot”😂

We call Little Duckie “Quacken”. When we come home, one of us will say, “It is time to… release the Quacken!”
Sad news. One of the budgies downstairs passed away during the night. 😭

Ducks on parade are adorable. So happy Brat the spicy kitten realized indoors is great! And he has a new family, win-win for everyone.
For us, it’s “Cry Havoc, and let loose the dogs of War” or “Release the wee Beasties” when we get home. Good news, Thor is doing better! Since dogs really can’t be tested for allergies this isn’t an “official” diagnosis but I think he is allergic/sensitive to fish or any type of fish oil. He had some last Sat and he was so miserable. Took him off that, got different food and he almost his old self. What a relief – for both of us.

Great news about Thor!
I have always wanted to name a dog Spot so I could say “Out, out damned spot.”

So glad to hear the good news about Thor! Here’s hoping this really does the trick@
Dietary sensitivities in pets can be hard to pin down, as I know from what I went through with Ricky in his first year with me. It doesn’t help that many vets don’t think about the components of a dog’s diet as a possible culprit in health issues. (I’m not saying all vets don’t consider it, or that vets don’t consider it at all, just that in my personal experience they seldom think of it early on.)

I’m not surprised dogs can smell stress–after all, they’re used as service dogs for people with seizures and other issues.
