Wow, I’m early on a Bunday!
Baby buns and cocoa were a lovely start to a gloomy day. Cloudy now and they’re predicting storms later in the afternoon/evening. Debating how early is too early to start laundry…
I am DED, DED, from the too much cute of the bebeh bunnies, nursing while on their backs and leetle hind legs a kicking. Then they binky around and act like typical siblings. Wanting what the other has, jumping over one another, getting in the way, while momma is outta there.
I LOVED the hind legs kicking when on their backs nursing! And the hoppings! DED, DED from te qte!! Mom obvy found a safe place to leave them for awhile.
The hind legs kicking about killt me too.
Is it just me or did the babies multiply? One second there are two, but at the end, there were sooo many kittens. Happy to say that bunnies now outnumber predators in my yard, so we have an abundance of bunnies of assorted sizes.
You are lucky!
There is a 12 MINUTE VERSION😳
These buns are really too old to be nursing. The white spots on their foreheads are 98% gone. The fact that they are eating plants is a sign they should be on their own. I’m confused🤨
Teenage bunnies. I’ve seen this with almost adult birds. They’ll be on the deck rail by our bird feeder and if mama is around, they cry and flap their wings and she feeds them. BUT as soon as mama leaves, they’re on the feeder eating. So I call them “teenagers.”
I’ve seen my birds do the same thing!
My friend has one of those Birdfy feeders with a camera that she can watch on a phone app and she recently posted one that caught a bird that I didn’t even realize was young until its mom came along and fed it some seed. It definitely looked old enough to be feeding itself but I guess sometimes you just want mom to take care of you anyway.
Kittens will sometimes comfort nurse. It’s just a togetherness thing.
Where is this place where not a weed is to be seen and the salad bar is open all day?
If I had a yard, I’d make a garden just for bunnies. Then I’d set up a camera and never get anything done.
I have some friends who’s kids are the same way.
20 something but still at home. not interested in working, dreaming of careers but not doing anyth8ing about it, not even helping out around the home.
Hey, you’re out of high school, not in college, and still living at home you SHOULD be helping out around the house! Good grief!
