Dog goes to a fancy restaurant, Kitten Miri turns four, sofas for cats, dangerous bird hatches, and more.

And finally: Baby Blorp
Folks in Thailand are in love with Moo Deng, a baby pygmy hippo, and Andrew Y. found these videos of the chubby cutie.
OMG, the fancy dog meal is adorably hilarious! And he’s missing an ear and his name is Vincent Van Dog! What!? 💗💗💗
(Seriously, though, the “deconstructed pumpkin pie” doesn’t look bad…)
Moo Deng is a sassy beast!
That big gummy smile with four little tooth nubs! I’m ded.
There’s lots of fan art and videos/pics of Moo Deng on Twitter

It will always be “Kitten” Miri to me, too! Happy birthday, sweet thing! 😻🎉🎂
The hippo ear flipitys!! The leetle hops! Looks like a happy baby! Just truly adorable☺️
Did not know cassowaries were that deadly! New Jurassic Park?
Good thing my sister doesn’t frequent this site! Otherwise I’d be making 3 Kitty Couches for Christmas!
I love Miri!💙
What do I have to do to pet Moo Deng? That’s the luckiest man in the world. I go crazy for pygmy hippos, and the babies turn up the crazy to 11.
Happy birthday, darling Miri. I didn’t realize our b-days are so close!
I wish someone would make me a gourmet 7 course meal.
She will always be kitten Miri however old she gets!
Moo Deng is adorable, he reminds me of Fiona when she was a baby.
Fiona was about the size of a baby pygmy hippo when she was born!
I wondered!
Vincent Van Dog’s mom must have had a blast planning his party. It’s so much fun.
Moo Deng is a real spirits lifter, which I need.
Not Saturday, but I’ve been non-communicative for a bit, and thought a quick update would be good. I had my antidepressant dose raised, with another increase pending. I had a viciously sore throat for over a month from another flare-up, and they tested for throat cancer. Test results were negative, but my other meds may need changing, too. Jerk BIL is being watched closely at work, but I can’t tell family, as hubby and I are trying to keep work and family separate. BIL could end up being fired for diverse reasons, and hubby’s work reputation will suffer, as he fought to get BIL hired. Dad’s meds may need increasing, but he refuses to cooperate with the doctors on this. Current dose not quite enough. If he stops meds, the seizures start. We accept he has the right to refuse his meds, but it’s frustrating. If he quits meds, it’s probable hospitalization, with the end moving drastically closer. And little Duckie has started falling off her perch, but refuses to use the bottom of her cage. If I lower the perches, or take the perches out, she clings to the bars up top and falls from them.
Continuing to lurk, because I really need you all and this site right now.
Hugs to you and Little Duckie..
More hugs from me, Duckie.
Cosmo is such a lovely floof-panther.
Also it could be useful to have a killer bird in your house. Like a guard bird.
I have one…
