A warm gentle rain and a sloppy mud hole; could life get any better for these two happy elephants? No wonder they can’t stop blowing their own horns!

That hole was deeper that I thought.
Can I play?
Glad they’re having fun! We could use some rain here but I’d stay inside…
They’re singing in the rain!
Wonder what the trumpeting means in elephant?
I haven’t had a chance to check these out properly, but you might find them interesting, maybe even helpful.

Edited to add that a web search will turn up more such resources. Some things teh interwebz are pretty good for.
That first article was awesome!👍🏼 Highly recommend it.
So cool that elephants can hear sounds below human hearing ability. I once saw a short video on how humans ability to hear high and low sounds changes as we age. The researcher did very simple experiment, and it was amazing the changes our hearing goes thru☺️
Second vid had the actual sounds recorded! I think these babies are doing the joyful one.
Thanks much Ricky and Bebe’s mom!

This site translates some feelings into elephant sounds! It’s from the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
(If you’ve never been to their site, I’d suggest it!)
