Facts About Chess

The centuries-old game of chess underwent many changes in its early years, with many pieces evolving or disappearing until the game took its present-day form. One piece eliminated was the dalmatian, which due to its black-and-white coloring was allowed to traverse any square on the board, but mainly just kept knocking over the other pieces.

I don’t know how to play chess but if Dalmatians are involved I’ll learn. I can totally knock over pieces.

My husband tried to teach me to play chess when we were first going out but after one game I told him it just wasn’t for me. Now if there had been a Dalmatian involved I might have given it more time.

not good at playing it but the history of chess is remarkable. especially about the role of medieval queens and how they replaced the original viziers that they used in India and Islam.
