    Kitty is nicer than me, when I answer the door or the phone and it’s somebody trying to sell me something I tend to just say: Thank you, not interested.

      I no longer answer the door or the phone (thank you, Hiya). And all junk mail/spam inquiries go straight to the circular file. Now, if kitty came to visit me, that would be a different story.
