And finally: Carrot Caper
Andrew Y. brings us a greedy hamster.
The octopus riding the shark’s head reminded me of the aliens in Robert A. Heinlien’s book Puppet Masters. (yes I’m a nerd)
I just love Martha and her squirrel friends.
The two hamsters act exactly like my two cats, Storm is a slow eater, she’ll sniff the treat and lick it before finally eating it but Skye scarfs down her treats so she’ll turn around and steals Storm’s treats all the time.
If more people read sci fi, there’d be a lot fewer people making…certain decisions w/r/t tech use.
Part of what makes octopus so charming to me is how obvious it is they have inner worlds. They do so much odd stuff, like punching fish, and apparently riding not just a shark, but the fastest shark in the ocean, one that does not hunt octopus or even where octopus are.
Agreed. I love octopoda so much.
Also is anybody else flashing back to “Baby Monkey Riding Backwards on a Pig”?
Martha’s little noises are too funny and adorable. I wouldn’t have a big dog, but how could anyone not love that face?
When did octopuses become shark wranglers?
Greedy hamster needs a time out.
Agree about greedy hamster. The bunny hammie started to stand up for itself but hoomins need to intervene. This actually made me sad, despite the cuteness.
Is that non-greedy hamster wearing bunny ears?!?!
Well, now I want spaghetti for dinner, but I don’t know if I could eat the poodle version. Most of those are too cute to eat.
Collie-flower?

I agree, too cute!
BTW, I cannot believe Iām the only one who wrote on Sunday! That has NEVER happened on any day!
Sent the octopus article to a friend, Sharktopus is her spirit animal.
So Martha literally says:
SQUIRREL!!
Just love her sweet face.
