During the early 17th century, as Puritans settled into what would become New England, laws were strict and punishments harsh. Every town had a pillory to shame miscreants and drunkards, including a miniature one for misbehaving cats.
Our pets are more than just beloved companions. Sometimes our four-legged friends help us visualize basic mathematical concepts. For example, we would normally say the intersection of these two walls creates a right angle. However, when a pet sleeps in it, it’s called a cute angle.
