The Story of Ollie

Ollie was an otter pop — alone and almost frozen — when he was rescued by Seal Rescue Ireland. Given round-the-clock milk and a cuddly toy to keep him company, he recovered and prepared to go swimming for the first time. And just like an otter we met earlier, Ollie didn’t quite take to the water right away, but he got the hang of it. But the best part came when Ollie got a cuddly new friend — a girl otter! Normally that would be mama otter’s job, but little orphan Joey has the staff of the care of the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre to get him used to the wonderful world of wetness.
