Robot Sheep from Outer Space!

As they entered the unfamiliar clearing, Kent frowned. “Gee willikers, Betty,” he exclaimed, “I could have sworn this was the path back to the campsite. Now I have no idea where we are. Darn this compass — darn it to heck!”

“You don’t fool me, Kent Perkins,” Betty teased. “You just wanted to get me here all by my lonesome.” Kent blushed. “Jeepers no, Betty. We’re really lost!”

“Well then,” she said coyly as she leaned back against a tree, “whatever shall we do about th–” But a sudden sound interrupted her, a rasping, metallic whine, like dozens of turbine engines starting up all around them. Then, one by one, strange lights approached them.

They were surrounded. Betty screamed and ran into Kent’s arms. The lights moved closer, and soon they could see strange creatures, shambling towards them on stiff, clanking legs.

Then from among them came a single robotic voice: “Get… the… clippers…
