I’ve reorganized the sidebar. The Amazon and tip jar stuff is in an area titled “Support the Site.” Below that is the list of recent comments, then a new thing, a list of popular posts ranked by traffic.

On mobile devices, the comments and popular posts are hidden, but similar lists remain at the bottom of each page. My goal is to reduce the amount of scrolling people have to do on those devices.

Lastly, I moved one of the ads into the main column, but not in a way that disrupts the articles themselves.

I’d like to know what you think. I can undo or modify some of these changes if people don’t like them.

I added a form to the bottom of the sidebar that you can use to subscribe to the blog via email. Subscribers get a message every time a new post appears on the blog, and perhaps you may find this convenient.
