Born with deformed front legs, Derby the dog was missing out on a normal life full of running and playing. But a team of ingenious problem-solvers at 3D Systems created custom-fitted prosthetic legs for Derby, putting a spring into his step.
The first prosthetics kept Derby’s front end low to the ground, but last month, 3D Systems introduced Derby 2.0, taller legs that allowed more natural movement.
