Bleen!
Kitty is not letting her goofy haircut affect her regal bearing. Love the little tail tuft. 🙂
Someone’s going to find a sticky revenge surprise in their bedding
Ruh-roh!
That is such a Jetsons cat, I love it!
“Jetsons cat” is awesome. Never heard that one before. 😀
I’ve never said it before! 😀 I just thought that’s how cats would look on The Jetsons, haha!
That should be the first nomtom dotcom glossary entry.
My photoshop sense has been alerted. Those eyes are are a little too wackadoodle, and you can see the line in the tablecloth? right next to the neck is off. Still cute. But ya ain’t gotta lie.
You’re probably right. Oh, well. (For the record, I don’t alter pictures, apart from occasionally cropping them.)
Me thinks it might just be one of those fish eye lenses. Just some good old fun.
Just another example of society making body image suggestions with which little girl kitties have to come to terms. My three eleven/twelve pound furry wide-loads are insulted.
“furry wide-loads” LOL Love it, i think my 14lb fluffy-pants is a furry extra wide-load :/
another worthy glossary entry.
Ha! Here is my “furry wide-load” Boo getting his nightly belly massage.
Gigi you are so lucky. My Dorothy keeps her belly strictly off limits. Boo looks delicious. Meow.
My Stripes likes to lay on his back so he can attack the hand (or foot) that dares to pet the irresistible belly. (I wisely do not attempt to get my face close enough for proper snorgling.)
That belleh gives a lot of scope for rubbing!
Love how his leettle tongue peeks out near the end of the video. I think he was in Vana (not Nirvana, but right smack in it!)
Beautiful kitty! My 14lb furry wide-loader is one big white fluffy pillow, and only for a few seconds will she let me touch her tummy before the back paws engage!
Oooh what a beautiful house panther! That fur looks so glossy!
I loved when his eyes closed and his paw wrapped around your hand. My Simba loved belly rubs too (and being brushed, including and especially the belly).
He was a dog in a cat suit and also played fetch, came when called, and generally acted very un-kitty like.
He would have been ticked if I only used one hand though. His attitude was “Why have servants if they are going to just half-@@@ it? You can be replaced!”
He passed in March @ 19 3/4 years old
I am sad to hear he is gone, but it sounds like he had a long and wonderful life, and what awesome memories! Thank you for sharing!?
No matter how long they’re here, it’s never long enough. Please accept my sympathy. You’ll see Simba at the bridge. MCO
Ha, I think I got you all beat. I took care of a friend’s cat for three months named Mr. Paddywak. Mr. P was an 18 lb Maine Coon Cat who, IMHO, defined the very definition of furry wide load or perhaps XXXL. Take a look at that floof and snoorgable belly!
Deep enough floof to dive into.
It was, he had to brushed everyday or poor thing would get so matted. Luckily he loooved being brushed out, I probably spent about a 1/2 hour each evening doing it. He was such a sweet boy overall, it was very hard to give him back.
Mike, that type of cat look actually goes back to the 1950s, although I think it was mostly Siamese cats portrayed that way. I certainly remember similar looks in the 60s. As for ‘shopping, it may just be a clumsy attempt to clean up the pic without misrepresenting anything. I prefer to think so, because it’s so funny. 🙂
OMG!!!! We had some of those statuettes! I had completely forgotten about them until I saw this picture. We had a mom and two kittens, all white. They had collars, and very fine chains attached each kitten to the mom. The mom cat was very long and lean and elegant. I loved them. (In my defense, I was a child.)
My aunt had those statuettes amid the hundreds of nick-necks she had in her living room, I used to love visiting her to see if she had new ones.
My friend had one of those, about a foot and a half tall, sitting by her aquarium. It always made me smile.
But the aquarium residents, huddled on the opposite
side , were not amused.
From the fish’s point of view, I bet Kittly statue looked something like this. They did not seem concerned, if not mocking of the Kitty statue. ?v=1452272262

I think we have the Keanes and their big-eyed children to thank for this look.
