It’s Been Fine, Vine

Vine, the six-second video service bought by Twitter in 2012, is shutting down. In its short life, Vine offered up everyday moments as nuggets of micro-comedy, with plenty of cuteness. Herewith, a sampling; if you have a favorite, add its address in the comments:

I loved Vine; I am sorry to see it go! This is a go-to for when I need perking up at work. https://youtu.be/R_bukTYGGTM

I had no idea of its existence ’til I saw the news of its demise last night. Oh, well.

LOVED the kitty stretching its toesies!

Me too, I want to massage between the toesies. Oh and the ear splay on the first goat. 😀

RIP Vine…I hope there’s a way to preserve some of these awesome ones!

Maybe a lot of Vine users will migrate to Instagram and re-upload their videos there.

That would be cool! Vine was such a great concept – of all the sites/blogs/apps out there, I can think of plenty I could do without before Vine.

Could you explain Instagram to me? ?

I looked it up on Wikipedia but am no further along in my understanding of how actually to use it.
