A wrapped cat makes an ideal holiday gift, if only to ensure that your conspiracy meme-sharing grandfather won’t be the crankiest thing you encounter this year. Wrapping a cat can be difficult, so here are two videos that offer techniques and tips.
Carol B. and Allein S. show us how — now let’s work on why. (Shouts-out to D. D. and E. S. for the holiday tips! Thank you!)
I can’t help you with the “why” part…sorry…
Near the end of the first video there’s a speech bubble that says: “Let me take this off before CuteThingsExploding finds this cute”. Do you think that refers to the Old Ranch?
At the very end there’s a link to CuteThingsExploding (I almost missed it and had to go back)…

I saw the bottom video on Facebook earlier this week and laughed until I cried. The top one is also terrific, what with the tail wrapping!
Yeah, someone in my work’s employee group shared it and I promptly went to find it on youtube so I could send it in. I’d seen the first one before, but I don’t think it had the cat’s thoughts in the annotations.
Silly people. Everyone knows the best way to wrap a cat is to use some freshly cleaned and dried laundry.
Save the paper! We can use it again next year!
Maru would be a self wrapping cat present. Wrap the box first, then he’ll jump right in for you.
I was thinking that Maru wouldn’t mind being wrapped!
Yay! My video suggestion made it on! I’m just jealous as there is no way in this universe my kitty would let me do that!
Grey kitty suits that beautiful blue colour!
