Doggie-copter!! And the mere mention of that Futurama episode makes me tear up.
Speaking of doggie copters – has anyone seen that ad for Facebook Groups with the Basset hound meetup? Am I the only one that isn’t sure that the dog with the guy looking for the group is a Basset? He’s definitely a hound, but I’m thinking Beagle in part – the ears aren’t long enough.

That dog story is weird. He waited four years for them to come back for him, then wouldn’t go home with them? Did he go home with the woman who was feeding him after his people came back? Was he mad at the ones who left him behind and just trying to prove a point? “Look how loyal I am. You don’t deserve me.” I hope he went home with the woman and is living happily ever after.
That story hits really close to home. When I was 6 my family went to Maine for a vacation. On the way back home we evidently did the same thing these people did – left our dog at a gas station. Somehow we didn’t realize it until we got home – we made our dad drive back to the gas station (about 2 hours each way) and get our little guy. Lucky for all of us, he was there waiting.
I am not sure if anything can be cuter than 5 ginger kittens.
