Links: Extreme Makeovers

Before and after pets, animal art, dog and raccoon, and pigeon gets a blow-dry

And finally: Alternate Route

That bridge doesn’t look safe, think I’ll go this way instead.

I loved the man in Turkey using a hair dryer to dry a pigeon perched on a ledge on his building. His explanation that he did it because the pigeon has a life is the best rationale there is for caring for animals – they have lives just like we do.

I haven’t clicked any links yet but that little orphan kitty looks like felt.

Speaking of pigeons, fun fact: I was just listening to the 20,000 Hertz podcast and they talked a little about the sounds of birds taking off (owls are practically silent). Pigeons make a little high-pitched sound that most people think is a vocalization but it’s actually the sound of their feathers.

Walking across an Indiana Jones bridge is one of my biggest “nopes”. That dude is just showing off.

Loved how that ape just took it in stride, though! It felt like Tocktober again.

Precious babies in the then-and-now collection! Frankie and his kitten siblings have splorted my brain.

I love all these posts but I love the paintings the most. Such an artist! Such joyfulness!
