The host is holding a ferret and it’s bites the host finger and won’t let go, the owners says “just put it on the floor” and is very calm about it.
The host puts the ferret on the table in front of him but the ferret just back pedals pulling on the finger and won’t let go. The owner try to give the host the two ferrets he has in his hands so he can help him but the the host doesn’t want two more ferrets!!
Finally someone comes and gets the other two ferrets from the owners and he makes the ferret let go of the finger of the host.

Many years ago my boyfriend (now husband) had to deal with this with a lost pet ferret that wandered into our house one rainy day and then startled my mother badly when it came running up to her with, she swears, a look of “Thank God–a people!” on it’s little furry face. She called Ed back to help corral the little critter and it latched onto his hand, not breaking the skin, but refusing to let go. They finally had to pry its little jaws open gently with a dull table knife–no harm done, I promise. It really was very forgiving about the whole thing. Fortunately its people (a very nice lady) advertised the escape and we were able to reunite them a few days later.
