An appeal from new sender-inner Glenna: “Yoshi was born with both back feet dislocated at the ankles and we are trying to raise funds for her surgery. We are actually pretty close to our goal but just need a bit more to reach it.”
If this is how frisky she is with floppy legs, can you imagine the Lurkenschproingen once she’s all better?
What pretty, glossy fur Yoshi has! She is adorable!
Here’s hoping for a full, speedy recovery – may she soon lurkenschproing to her heart’s content and catch the bedeviled red dot of infinite vexation.
Such a delightful kitty! Clearly she has wonderful hoomins looking after her.
Once she gets her surgery, she might sproing right through the roof!
… complete with the “Six Million Dollar Man” techno sound effect. 😀
Haha I want to see that in the “after” video!
such a playful kitty! They are both so adorable!
Hello Mike, It may be early to ask this, but I absolutely loved my CuteOverload Page-ADay calendar from a few years ago. What are your thoughts about doing a 2017 calendar from your site?
P.S. So sad to hear about the end of CO…but so grateful you decided to take up the Qte…we all need a safe, happy place to visit on the interwebs.
I’m glad you enjoyed the C.O. calendar. I worked on the last two page-a-day calendars, and it was fun and challenging to do. I brought up the issue of merchandise in this post a few weeks ago and got some helpful feedback.
Because my audience is much smaller than C.O. had, I won’t be able to get a publisher interested, so I’m limited to self-publishing. My goal is to create a 12-month wall calendar for 2017. I will post updates to the site as I make progress.
2017 Calendar Count-Down Clock starts now!
Yay! For 15 years I lived in the Silicon Valley (Los Altos, Mt. View, Santa Clara, then Walnut Creek). Marriage and children brought me to Virginia. I kinda wish I was back in the Silicon Valley (where I assume you and this site are based). I’d do all I could to help out with the calendar and the Qte as a volunteer. I really feel strongly that this site, and sites like CO are so important and helpful to so many people. I see it as a public service. Thank you so much for all you do. I know you’re not getting rich off of this, so your generosity of spirit is inspiring.
The lurkenschproing is strong in this one.
NTMTOM – THANK YOU! Thank you for filling the void that has been left in wake of the demise of CO.com for all the needy four-legged ones.
hearts to you. 🙂
