I added a form to the bottom of the sidebar that you can use to subscribe to the blog via email. Subscribers get a message every time a new post appears on the blog, and perhaps you may find this convenient.
How is this different from notify me of new posts by email?
I don’t think it’s at all different, except it opens up the function to people without WordPress accounts. If you already are getting notifications by email, then you don’t need to sign up for this.
This is my start page, I know if there are new posts when I launch my browser.
